Envision Physician Services is looking for a Regional Medical Director to lead our growing Critical Care Intensivist programs across the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex including Medical City Dallas.

RMD Qualifications:

  • Board Certified – Critical Care
  • Experience as Critical Care Medical Director – more than five years preferred
  • Clinical Leader
  • Excellent communication skills: Verbal, Written, and Presentation
  • Ability to work successfully within complex situations
  • Experienced in performance improvement
  • Firm – able to stand ground and articulate point of view professionally
  • Consensus builder
  • Ability to gain and hold respect of diverse organizations and individuals
  • Active TX license preferred or in-process
  • W2 Employee status with medical, dental, vision insurance and 401k options

The Regional Medical Director is responsible for the supervision of all critical care patient care-related activities within the region. The RMD monitors standards of performance consistent with quality and financial goals. The RMD is in close communication with executive leadership and assists with planning, organizing, staffing, and directing of the company’s operations and personnel.

Medical City Dallas Hospital is a 660-bed quaternary regional care referral center and includes Medical City Children’s Hospital. The medical staff consists of 1,150 physicians representing 95 adult and pediatric specialties. Other specialty services include the Transplant Center; the Dallas Craniofacial Center; the nationally-known Neuroscience Program; and the Cardiovascular Institute at Medical City Dallas. Patients have come from all over the United States and 75 foreign countries to receive cutting edge healthcare. The Emergency Department at Medical City Dallas/Medical City Children’s Hospital is a 75,000 volume Level II Trauma Center located in the heart of North Dallas.
