Overview

The Medical Director will lead and manage critical care physicians as well as serve physicians and allied health professionals from multiple specialties in the treatment of critically ill patients. The Director will also participate in the continuum of care for patients from ER into ICU and /or med/surg floor and discharge.

The ideal candidate will leverage their clinical and administrative leadership skills to build upon established efficiencies and further develop critical care services. The hospital is an Integrated Acute Care site, where USACS manages patients in the ED, Hospital Medicine and Critical Care service lines and as a leader you will be part of the IAC leadership team shaping the way care is delivered to these patients

Critical Care

  • ICU Volume: 14
  • 15 bed ICU/IMC
  • 24-7 Critical Care physician coverage
  • Experienced ICU Nursing Staff with seasoned nurse leader

Hospital

  • Holy Cross Germantown Hospital opened in October 2014 to provide high-quality healthcare to the people of Germantown, Maryland, and upper Montgomery County
  • The hospital features a full scope of medical services, a 15-bed Intensive Care Unit, and two 30-bed units for all non-intensive care patients equipped with advanced patient monitoring capabilities
