Excellent opportunity to join a world-renowned heart failure and transplant center in Houston, Texas with a 24-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Intensivist, Board Certified in Critical Care to manage critically ill cardiac patients. Intensivist must have skills and training to care for those with advanced heart failure requiring left ventricular support devices and post orthotopic heart transplants. State of the art unit treats acute and chronic critically ill patients with a wide variety of cardiac diseases and multi-organ dysfunction. The Intensivist works in close collaboration with cardiologists and other specialists in the management of these patients.
