As a Critical Care / Pulmonary physician within USACS, you'll be part of a team unique in today's industry. Hospital

  • Small, community hospital of <100 beds with a family approach with the ultimate goal of providing the very best patient care
  • Specialties supported are; general surgery, urology, gynecology, orthopedics, nephrology, neurology, cardiology, gastroenterology on-call coverage
  • Consults available for ID, Hematology/Oncology, and PRN for ENT & Podiatry
  • Hospital is building a new Interventional Radiology program

Emergency Department

  • ED Volume: 30,000
  • 12% admission rate
  • CPSI/Evident EHR, October 2021 will transition to Cerner

Hospitalist Service

  • Nocturnist must be comfortable with codes and procedures
  • Open ICU
  • Average daily census is 20-25, ICU volume is 4-5, inpatient volume 20
  • The team is supported by an IAC RN and an administrative coordinator
  • Multispecialty support

Critical Care

  • Hybrid model of rounding on ICU patients and then rounding on inpatients
  • 4 bed ICU with the potential of moving up to 8
  • Open ICU
  • Help with admissions during the day
  • Available for the APP to see patients as needed
  • Average daily census is 20-25, ICU volume is 4-5, inpatient volume 20
  • The team is supported by an IAC RN and an administrative coordinator
  • Multispecialty support
