Job Description
The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, is seeking qualified Surgical Critical Care/Trauma Surgeons at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join a growing Surgery Department and practice. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching and scholarly activity. Responsibilities will include sharing call on the trauma and emergency surgery service, performing critical care and resident and student education.
Applicant must be Board Eligible or Certified in General Surgery, have completed a Surgical Critical Care/Trauma Surgery Fellowship, eligible for a Texas Medical License and qualified to hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Surgery at the UTRGV School of Medicine and appropriate hospital staff appointments.
