Position: Pulmonology
Location: Waterloo, IA

MPLT Healthcare is looking for physicians who Understand the Urgency, Never Give Up, and Have the Courage to Excel in the forever changing medical industry! We have numerous opportunities for an experienced pulmonology physician with highly competitive pay rates in Waterloo, IA.

• Pulmonary Critical Care - 24-hour Inpatient Call
• BC Pulmonology and BC Critical Care or BE (within 5 years of becoming eligible)
• Iowa licensed (or compact license)
• Needs to be able to start the week of Mar 8th
• March 16-23 Urgent Need
• Around 10-14 shifts/month
• 24/7 call coverage, generally x 7 days
• Covers both Waterloo and Cedar Falls Medical Centers—consults, procedures and cover ICUs
  • WMC – 12 bed open ICU
  • CFMC- 5 bed open ICU
• Generally 20-30 patients between the two hospitals
• Procedures include intubation, central line, bronchoscopy, art lines, vents (no cardiothoracic)
• Little or no malpractice preferred
• Board Certification in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care
