Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00am-6:00pm; No Federal Holidays, No Weekends, and No Overtime.

We currently have an opening for a full-time Physician to work at the Federal Correctional Complex Hazelton, Bruceton Mills, West Virginia

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements.

Requirements

• Active and Unrestricted Medical License in ANY State
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience working in an Acute Care, Ambulatory Care, Medical/Surgical or Psychiatric Care Facility
• Experience working in a correctional facility environment (preferred)
• Active CPR Certification
• Active ACLS Certification
• Active DEA Registration
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Scope of Work may include but are not limited to the following:

• Comprehensive assessment and management of uncomplicated acute and stable chronic health problems of inmates, performs initial comprehensive medical and psycho-social screening, physical examination and risk evaluation of inmates.
• Conduct daily sick call, assist the physician with the procedures.
• Provide a wide range of emergency services, in the absence of the physician, including primary care for trauma and life-saving procedures.
• Performs minor surgical procedures.
