Physician needed for locum assignment at a Correctional Facility in MA!
Client can accept ER/IM/UC/FP backgrounds, but they must be Boarded or truly BE
Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Title: Site Medical Director
Location: MA
Start Date: June 6th or July 18th - Must attend weeklong MA DOC training which only happens once a month
Length of Assignment: Looking for 6-month contract – open to longer
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8am-4pm or 9am -5pm
Is there call: not typically
Patient Volume: N/A roughly there are 1500 inmates....they do not see all 1500 though – more as needed
Setting: Correctional medicine – IM/UC/ER – all adult male patient population
EMR: ERMA – we have training for this as it is our program.
Percentage of Admin work vs. Clinical work: varies week to week...... typically, 30 admin / 70 clinical.....oversees 3 mid-level providers
Types of Cases: UC, ER, and IM/PC – all adult males. In the prison setting they are going to see everything.
