A cardiology physician is needed in Hawaii for interventional coverage. There will be call on a 1:3 or 1:4 weekend rotation. Locum tenens responsibilities will be inpatient and outpatient coverage, invasive and non-invasive procedures, interventional cardiology, cardiac catheterization, and PA catheter placement. There are other procedures that are preferred. The covering physician will see an average of 25 patients in the hospital per day. Candidates must be board certified and fellowship trained. Assistance with hospital privileges will be provided. Weatherby covers malpractice, travel, and housing while on assignment.
