A rural and academic health system in Upstate New York is hiring a heart failure cardiologist. The position will be based out of the main campus. Come join an expanding department of cardiology and cardiac surgery, including 2 cardiac surgeons, 9 cardiologists, and 15 advanced practice clinicians. Work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm with 3 nights of call per month. State-of-the-art facilities are available, including Phillips flat panel catheterization laboratories, a Phillips 64-detector CT scanner, cardiac MRI, and a full spectrum of programs in non-invasive cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac surgery. The ideal candidate will be someone with ties to the area, or someone who grew up living in a rural community and desires to live within the rural setting. Candidates can be board certified or board eligible and 2021 fellows are welcomed. H-1B visas can be sponsored.

This employed position offers a competitive base salary plus wRVU production incentive. You will also receive relocation assistance, a sign-on bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, life insurance/disability, 22 days of PTO and 5 personal days, 2 weeks of CME and stipend, a generous pension, and malpractice coverage.
