We are hiring an experienced Cardiac Surgeon to our Robust cardiac surgery group located in Baltimore, Maryland!

The Cardiac Surgery Division maintains a well-established, high-quality program/hospital 500 beds, performing 350-400 procedures per year. Full spectrum of adult cardiac surgical procedures, including TAVR. Surgeons actively perform TAVR procedures and collaborate with Institute colleagues in other catheter-based aortic and structural heart procedures. Advanced Practice Provider support year round! We have a dedicated cardiac ICU and step down unit. Strong Support from administration! Department has a 2 star STS rating for CABG and Valve surgery.

EMR is Cerner. Patient Load-average 1-2 surgeries per day plus consults. Must be able to perform TAVR - Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement, a minimally invasive, catheter-based procedure

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited Medical School
• Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery
• Expertise in TAVR required; other catheter-based skills desirable
• At least five years of post-fellowship experience
• Verifiable excellent outcomes
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Must work well in a team environment
