*Hospital has an opening for an Interventional Cardiologist.*

**General Responsibilities**
- Upholds the organizations' Mission, Values and Goals by adhering to the Standards of Performance.
- Participates in team-based patient-centered care delivery.
- Provides medical services in their Specialty.
- Is responsible (together with other physician employees) for the medical administrative management and development of Medical Center
- Complies with, supports and furthers the goals of any compliance program established by or for Medical Center.
- Is actively engaged in quality improvement projects as set forth by Medical Center
- Applies him/herself diligently to the development and expansion of his/her medical practice and the patient panel of their office, and to assist in operation of Medical Center in a cost-effective manner, and to perform in a manner that warrants the respect and the trust of patients, peers and other health-care professionals.
- Fosters good patient relations, a positive image, and ensure acceptance of Medical Center and him/herself in the community.
- Participates in community related activities.
- Conducts him/herself and practice medicine in a way that is guided not only by the law and regulations but also by high standards of professional employee conduct.
- Keeps abreast of trends and changes to improve quality and safety in the care of the patient.
- Interacts with all in a courteous and respectful manner, inspiring confidence by performing and communicating in a professional and ethical manner.
- Actively participates in specific projects, committees, and staff meetings as assigned.

**Requirements**
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid NPI number and Valid DEA number.
- Must meet all applicable federal, state and local professional requirements.
