Reporting to the President of Cardiovascular Care Transformation Services, the Physician-in-Chief of Cardiovascular Services serves as the network leader for Cardiovascular Services, the incoming Physician-in-Chief will provide the vision, leadership, organization, and direction for Cardiovascular Services across the network. The Physician-in-Chief will lead the development and implementation of new initiatives to enhance clinical, academic, and research programs; and will guide the unification of goals and efforts across an existing service line to align Cardiovascular Care across the largest integrated health network in New Jersey.
The successful candidate will have Board Certification, a Masters degree in related field, 15 + years of experience in leadership within major health system and/or healthcare/biotechnology companies, Strong leadership presence, relationship building skills and ability to influence, lead and direct individuals in multiple functional areas and across all levels of employees, management and community leaders, Knowledge of care transformation principals, Experience as Cardiovascular Research expert, Participation and PI in randomized clinical trials, Reputation for Innovation and Leader in CV Industry.
