The Amarillo Veterans Affairs Health Care System in Amarillo, TX is in need of a locum tenens Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiologist for a one year period beginning July 1, 2019 with an option to extend for another one year period.
About the opportunity:

The schedule consists of Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM.

The facility uses CPRS EMR for charting.

No call requirements
-
Cardiology outpatient clinics, pacemaker outpatient clinic, exercise stress test clinic, nuclear stress/treadmill clinics. A portion of the time will be spent doing inpatient consults and rounding daily on cardiology patients.

Daily patients per clinic on average is 13 patients.
Experience and Requirements:

The ideal physician is board certified by American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiology.

BLS/ACLS required.

VetPro approved candidates preferred due to credentialing period, but not required.

For this assignment, any active state license is acceptable.

US Citizenship is required.
