A hospital in Michigan is looking for a cardiologist who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately 30 days between mid-March and late April, with a chance for an extension. The provider will be in the office/clinic from Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., preceded by and followed by an hour of rounding, and will be on call from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. The locum will work on a 24 hour call schedule during the weekends, with 95% phone consults. The locum will see around 25 patients per day and will work on stress tests, oversight for cardiac rehab, medical consults, ECHOs, cardiac nuclear studies, and more. The facility uses Allscripts and Meditech EHRs and will offer training.
