Schnitzler Cardiovascular Consultants, PLLC in San Antonio, Texas recruiting a Cardiologist for employment opportunity in a private practice. Practice will consider a Clinical Cardiologist, but welcome cardiologist with sub-specialties in Invasive Cardiology, Intervention and EP Cardiology, (with the understanding that the duties will include Clinical Cardiology to meet productivity requirements).

The position is located in San Antonio, Texas.

Candidate must be Board Certified or Board Eligible, and with Texas License or eligible for licensure in Texas. This is a open position, and is available immediately.

About the Practice:

• Full service Cardiology practice, with in-clinic diagnostic studies (echo, treadmill, nuclear, vascular, in-house Holter/Event Monitor Hook-ups)
• Heart Failure Clinic that include evaluation of: pacemakers and ICD implants
• Provides services to average of 80 to 100 patients daily

About the Position:

• Daily Clinical Schedule Monday through Thursday (Friday if necessary)
• Physician Interpenetration to Diagnostic Test: Echo, Routine Stress Test, Nuclear Stress Test
• Daily Collaboration with Non-Physician Practitioners ( 2 Nurse Practitioner’s, 1 Clinical Nurse Specialist)
• Daily rounding and consultation evaluations at hospital(s) with hospital consults, rounds as needed.
• Evening admissions covered by group on call physician
• Weekend Call in (Rotation with group Physicians)

A comprehensive compensation package may include:

• Compensation of $300,000 based on productivity "(Eat-What-You-Kill)"
• $25,000 Sign on Bonus after execution of employment agreement
• Bonus compensation based on positive productivity
• Benefits package (with estimate value of $35,000 plus), include health, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, CME, Professional Malpractice, etc.
