This position will be for the Director of CVICU Services, which includes both cardiac surgery and medical cardiology patients. All candidates must be BC/BE in Cardiology and must obtain Board Certification within two years of hire. Board Certification in Intensive Care also required, 1:5 call.

The Heart and Vascular Institute has 11 cardiologists: 6 interventionalists, 2 electrophysiologists and 4 non-interventionalists; 2 cardiothoracic surgeons and 9 mid-level providers. You will work beside well-trained professionals with a strong dedication to excellent quality care.

There are teaching opportunities for the Cardiology Fellowship, as well as teaching residents and medical students with Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, and the ability to participate in clinical research. Competitive starting salary, excellent benefits and malpractice insurance provided.
