Job Description

Last Update: 9/20/22
WEEKDAY CARDIOLOGY MOONLIGHTING
CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA

A top-tier physician-lead group recently expanded their coverage needs! Beginning in October and running at least through next spring, our team of Moonlighters will be covering all weekdays in the new pod-style outpatient clinic, built in 2019, along with the nearby 145-bed Regional Hospital. This is strictly non-invasive coverage, as the hospital does not have the infrastructure to support anything beyond consults and imaging.

This community is easily accessible from major NC cities and airports: 30min from Greensboro, 1.25h from Charlotte, 1.25h from Raleigh, 1.5h from Fayetteville, 2.5h from Greenville, NC. There are plenty of great hotels and restaurants to choose from!

Details

  • Monday-Friday, 7:00a-5:00p – Full week ideal, but not required
  • Coverage of hospital and outpatient office – Only 1-4 hours in office
  • Very low acuity and census: Hospital rounds/consults on 4-5, plus 6-8 office patients, and 3-10 studies
  • Hospital: Primarily consultative. All imaging at hospital; echo, nuc, vascular, TEE (not required)
  • Clinic: Hand-offs from exiting physician, referrals, and 3-6 month follow-up well visits

Requirements

  • Requirements: BC/BE - Cardiology
  • Active NC license and DEA ideal – We can assist with obtaining licenses and costs!

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive daily pay
  • Malpractice with tail provided
  • We will cover travel and comfortable lodging if not local – Your choice of hotel or AirBnB!

At physician-owned Moonlighting Solutions, we provide each moonlighter with a smooth in-house credentialing process, coverage of malpractice plus tail, and often cover costs for travel, lodging and new state licenses.
