We are actively recruiting a Cardiologist for an inpatient only opportunity. Very flexible scheduling options available and very flexible employment models. We are open to temp to perm, independent contractor and long-term locums. Interested in learning more about this 100% inpatient position, call us.
- Flexible scheduling 7 on/7 off or 14 on and off.
- Inpatient Only (Cover 2 Hospitals, 5 mins apart)
- Average Daily Census 10-15 Patients
- Consult service Only. NO Admissions (Hospitalist admit all patients)
- Read 3-6 Echoes/day (Excellent Echo Techs), Optional TEEs
- No open heart / CABG surgeries.
- Typical Shift 8AM-5PM
- Optional Night Call 5 PM-8AM (Interventional on call takes STEMIs)
- Start date after Dec 2021
- Can assist with Iowa license.
Night call is optional for additional pay and extremely light,. The 24X7 Hospitalist program provides excellent admission coverage and Interventionalists take all STEMI’s.
