In collaboration with The OSU Wexner Medical Center Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, our affiliate community network is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible noninvasive cardiologist to join an elite team of physicians to provide and lead cardiovascular services at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, located in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. The successful candidate will focus on both routine and complex cardiovascular care, including inpatient and outpatient consultative services at this exceptional, progressive community hospital. Leadership and proficiency in cardiovascular imaging required. Wyandot Memorial Hospital is well equipped to meet the growing and diverse needs of the communities it serves. Ohio State works in partnership with Wyandot Memorial Hospital to provide world-class cardiac care and management to patients in Wyandot County and surrounding areas in a convenient and local setting.

Environment and Culture
Situated approximately 68 miles from Columbus, Ohio, Wyandot Memorial Hospital is located in Upper Sandusky, the county seat of Wyandot County, Ohio. The uniquely positioned rural county allows its residents to live in the quiet, stress-free environment of a small town, but still have easy access to major commercial and industrial centers via the excellent highway system. It has long been a local center for manufacturing, agri-business, and farming and is now positioned to grow regionally.

Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible/Certified in Cardiology
  • Successful completion of a US accredited cardiology fellowship
  • Eligible for an Ohio License

OSUP Community Outreach, a division within OSU Physicians, is the employing entity for regional and community–based cardiology placement and is affiliated with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, which includes the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, comprised of over 60 cardiologists with focus areas to include: general cardiology, interventional, electrophysiology, adult congenital heart disease, heart failure, heart transplantation, mechanical circulatory assist, pulmonary vascular disease, women’s cardiovascular disease, cardiac MRI/CT, and cardio-oncology.
