Job Description:

Board eligible providers will not be accepted. Providers must have BC.

Allscripts in outpatient clinic. Meditech for inpatient EMR.

Will need full scope of reading for echo, nuc, stress, holter, event monitoring.

Duration: The first two sets of dates needed are June 11 at 8am to June 18 at 8am then June 25 at 8am to July 2 at 8am then every other week for 3 months

Shift Times: 9am – 5pm

Shift Notes: They will round at hospital 8am – 9a (avg inpt census is 3 – 5) Office/clinic for 9a – 3p. Round hospital from 3:30 – 5.

Weekends: Weekend call required - Weekend 24 hour rate should include 3 hours of hospital rounds

On Call: On call every evening and every weekend day.

REQUIREMENTS:

MI license at time of submission - Required

BC in Cardiology - Required

BLS - Required

Ability to read the full component of imaging (echo, stress, and cardiac nuclear studies) - Required

ABOUT THE FACILITY:

Hospital is in need of a General Cardiologist locum who can also read the full component of imaging (echo, stress, and cardiac nuclear studies). This need is for full time, every other week, and the responsibilities include inpatient rounding , outpatient clinic, and call.

49-bed acute care hospital, a 51-bed Long Term Care unit, a brand-new Emergency Department, a 30,000-square foot Rehabilitation Center, and several satellite clinics.
