Seeking a compassionate, patient-focused BC/BE Cardiologist to provide telemedicine for patients in private homes, group homes, independent, assisted and skilled living facilities. They may also see patients in the facility's chronic care management centers via telemedicine visits.

The essential functions include diagnosing and treating patients in private homes or assisted living facilities, including House Call services for common chronic diseases via telemedicine visits, analyzing and interpreting patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses, developing treatment plans based on standards of care and professional practice guidelines, chronic Medication management and educating patients on test results and treatment plans, ordering or performing diagnostic tests. The license must be current and in good standing in the State of Arizona. The candidate must have one to two years’ experience as an MD/DO and at least one year in the desired specialty field (Cardiology). He/she must be proficient in a Windows-based computer and smartphone and have the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. Must have current DEA and NPI. There is a full-time and part-time option. Arizona license in hand is required.

Telemedicine is the remote diagnosis and treatment of patients by means of telecommunications technology. It is the use of telecommunication and information technology to provide clinical health care from a distance. It has been used to overcome distance barriers and to improve access to medical services that would often not be consistently available in distant rural communities.
