Seeking a B/E or B/C Invasive Cardiologist to join a medical staff, 80 miles south of Nashville. This is an excellent solo hospital employed opportunity that will encompass 2 medically underserved communities. With a combined draw area of 84,000 and good referral base there is an immediate opportunity to grow your practice quickly. There is no in-market competition or state income tax. Hospital call will be ten days per month. Diagnostic imaging services include in-house MRI, 64-Slice CT, Radiography, Ultrasound and PACS accessible from home or office. Hospital is a 99-bed acute care facility, fully accredited by The Joint Commission and the Society of Chest Pain Centers. The hospital has served the area since 1974. It expanded its facility and services in 1991 with the addition of an Outpatient Surgery Unit, a state-of-the-art 24-hour physician-staffed Emergency Department and an Intensive Care Unit. The hospital opened a Physical Rehabilitation Unit in 1997 and a Women’s Health Center in 1999. Diagnostic imaging services include in-house MRI, Nuclear Medicine, 64-slice CT Scanner, Radiography, Digital Mammography and Ultrasound. Additionally, a 10- bed Physical Rehabilitation Unit provides Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy. In 2009, a $5.6 million expansion and renovation of the Emergency and Outpatient Departments was completed. This expansion doubled the size of our Emergency Department, separated our Emergency and Outpatient Waiting Areas as well as added two more rooms to our Outpatient Department.
