The Practice Opportunity

A thriving private Cardiology Practice located in the Phoenix Metro Area has a need for an BE/BC Interventional Cardiologist. The Practice currently has two full-time Interventional Cardiologists and two full-time Nurse Practitioners, and experienced over 11,000 patient visits in 2020 alone. There are over 85 different patient referral sources, and the Group is well positioned for future growth.

About the Phoenix Metro Area

The Phoenix Metro Area (known by most locals simply as “the Valley”), has approximately 5M residents, making it the 11th largest metropolitan area in the nation by population. Metro Phoenix grew by 652,945 people from April 2010 to April 2020, making it one of the fastest growing metro areas in the country. This also contributed to the entire state's exceptional growth, as the area is home to just over two-thirds of Arizona's population.

The specific community (within Metro Phoenix) in which the Practice is located is a young, vibrant city fueled by a strong economy. Thriving in business and leisure activities, access to a nationally ranked public school district, the community has been recognized as:

  • One of the Best Places to Live in the United States (CNN/Money Magazine)
  • The number one place in Arizona to raise a family (WalletHub, 2017), and
  • The second safest City in the U.S. (Law Street Media, 2016)

Several Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies have their international headquarters in the area, including Avnet, PetSmart, Apollo Education Group, Republic Services, ON Semiconductor, Insight Enterprises, and Sprouts Farmers Market.

The Phoenix Metro Area is also home to Arizona State University (ASU), one of the nation’s largest universities. It was recently recognized by U.S. News & World Report as the country’s most innovative school, and by the Sierra Club as the “coolest school” – referencing its commitment to environmental sustainability.

Minimal Call Responsibilities

Two hospitals are presently served by the Group. Multiple Cardiologists with privileges at these hospitals participate in a Co-Management Arrangement, resulting in an individual Cardiologist being On Call about three 24-hour Call Assignments per Month (On Site for 12 hours/Off Site for 12 hours).

Compensation, Incentives, Benefits, and Ownership Opportunities

The Practice is prepared to offer a qualified Candidate very competitive compensation, productivity incentives, and an attractive employee benefits plan. The right physician will be positioned in a few years to assume ownership in the Group, and for leading the Practice well into the future.
