Interventional Cardiologist Needed for Call Coverage within an hour of Charlotte, NC. We will pay for travel and lodging. Must have an active NC license. Weekday and weekend call dates available through June 2018.
• Hours: Weekend Friday 5PM – Monday 7AM | Weeknight 5PM-7AM
• Volume: 10 PPD
• Patients: Adult Cardiology
• Privileging: 30-45 days expedited.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Rounding on inpatient service and seeing all new consults. Typically rounding on 5-8 existing patients, 3 new consults per day.
Read all resting Echocardiogram studies (5 per day)
Read stress Echocardiogram studies (1 per day)
Supervise and interpret exercise/pharmacologic portion of nuclear stress tests (3-5 per day). Do NOT have to interpret the nuclear images as done by radiologist in hospital.
Respond to all STEMIs/Emergent LHC Procedures. This is an off-site PCI Program.
Ideally interventionalist with 3 years of post-Fellowship experience.
