o Interventional Cardiologist (we are open to board certified and non-board certified.)
o We would like candidates interested in starting within the next 3-6 months.
o We are open to sponsor J1 or H1B candidates.
o We are open to candidates who are about to complete Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.

The Reasons for Recruiting/Need:
• Growth and increased patient demand
• Expanding market – full-time cardiologist will have the potential to be ramped-up and busy in 3 months
• Scope of Practice – Interventional and General Cardiology [eventually 70% Interventional & 30% General]
Financial Package & Benefits
• $540,000 - $550,000 base salary; guaranteed for 2 years
• Production Bonus – 55% over every dollar (after overhead expenses are paid) collected over your base salary
• Signing Bonus - $30,000
• 24 month partnership track:
 Income potential (after 3rd year) - $1,000,000
• Relocation Stipend – Up to $10,000
• CME Stipend - $5,000 + 5 paid training days
• Paid Malpractice and Tail Coverage
• Paid licensure renewals (other certification and registrations addressed on a case-by-case basis)
• PTO – 3 weeks

• Health/Dental Insurance- Insurance premiums for the employee is paid by the company. You may add additional dependents at your own expense.
Practice Description & Schedule
• Schedule – Clinic is open 8 to 5, Monday – Friday :
o 2 half days per week at one of the satellite clinics (general cardiology) required
o Dr. Ranaweera’s typical schedule:
 Monday – Half day at satellite clinic; Half day in cath lab
 Tuesday – cath lab & hospital procedures
 Wednesday – full day in clinic (Manhattan)
 Thursday – cath lab & hospital procedures
 Friday – hospital procedures
• Volume:
o 60 – 65 patients/week in clinic
o 25 procedures/month in office cath lab
 Most common procedures: peripheral angiography and stenting; renal angiography and stenting; diagnostic carotid angiography; IVC file placement and removal; venography; venous ablations
o 40 procedures/month in hospital
 Most common procedures – Heart catheterizations; pacemaker/ICD implantation; loop recorder implantation; transesophageal echocardiogram
• Call:
o 1:4 general cardiology call [must be available within 30 minutes]
 Consults/follow-ups; typically non-emergent calls
o 8 days of hospital call (interventional) per month
 Additional compensation at $400/day for hospital call for any days covered past the 8 days/month that are required
