Colorado | Interventional Cardiology | $626k to $720k Potential

PRACTICE:
  • 82-bed, non-profit, tertiary care facility which is a Level III trauma center, but operates as a Level II
  • Service coverage area of 250,000
  • Zero competition
  • Built-in referrals: we are currently getting referrals from 150 to 200 physicians
    • We are averaging 6 to 10 new patients a day
  • Office: located at the hospital
    • 2 to 3 exam rooms plus 2 procedure room
    • Booked 4 months out
  • Support staff/equipment:
    • All staff is cross-trained
    • Phillips FD20, IR GE Anova-4100, ECHO & EKGPhillips
    • Stress/Nuc med cameraSiemens & Interpretations in McKesson
    • Cath Lab:
    • 1 MA per provider
    • 2 RNs
    • Scheduler
    • Option for NP/PA once fully ramped
    • NCDR quality award winner
  • Schedule: 5-day work week—8 am to 5 pm
    • Clinic: average 18 to 20 patients a day—2 days
    • Cath Lab: ECHO—13-15/day, cases—3/day, peripherals—1-2/day
  • EMR: Epic
  • Call: 1:3—paid call
    • Average .8 stents per month on call
  • Accepting H1B visa candidate

Financials:

  • Base salary: employed—depends on experience and credentials
    • Contract term: 2 years
  • Sign-on bonus: $20,000
  • Retention bonus/loan forgiveness: $15,000 a year
  • Production:
    • Tier I: H.T.F adjustment —$30,948
    • Tier II: wRVU - threshold 7,983
  • Vacation: 6 weeks
  • CME: $3,000 CME + $2,000 for licensure, dues, and subscriptions
  • Relocation: up to $10,000
  • Full benefits: life, health, dental, vision, and more
    • Retirement: 401k with up to 6% match
  • Malpractice: paid—occurrence—tail coverage
  • Call paid—you are paid after 6 days a month
    • 10 shifts a month = $41,400 annually
    • 15 shifts a month = $110,400 annually
