Maxim Healthcare Services is currently seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to provide services in at Keesler AFB located in Biloxi, MS.

Experience:

  1. Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Cardiology beyond fellowship.
  3. Experience must be sufficient to maintain credentials in all necessary commonly performed within the last 3 years interventional cardiology procedures
  4. Must have current and active Board Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in I.C

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, with 1 hour for lunch between the hours of 0700-1700 hours of operation
  • 8 hours/day (40/week)
  • On Call/Call Back Information - Approx. 15 days per month. On Call hours commence at the end of the duty day and end at the beginning of the next duty day

Position Description:

Provides all aspects of Interventional Cardiology cardiovascular care in accordance with guidelines established by the American College of Cardiology. Performs duties in the consultation, examination, diagnosis, and treatment of difficult cases. Knowledge of professional Interventional Cardiology practices, principles, and theories to carry full responsibility for medical care of a wide range of adult illnesses and injuries in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
