Kentucky Interventional Cardiologist Locums Opening
- Weekend call coverage needed
- December 19 (5 pm) - 22 (7 am) with on going coverage 1 - 2 weekends a month.
- Schedule/Call: 8-4:30 with call, Rounding in the AM and PM
- Coverage requests are typically for Friday @ 5pm through the following Monday @ 7am but there are requests that fall outside of this around the holidays
- Required
- BC-IC, We cannot accept any candidates if they are not board certified in interventional cardiology.”
- Active KY License
- Active ACLS
- Clean Background-only able to move forward with physicians that do not have any malpractice history (unless it is unrelated to cardiology or the provider was cleared of any wrongdoing)
- Procedures: Acute Myocardial Infarction, Angiography, Angioplasty-PTCA, Altherectomy, Balloons, Cardiac Catheter, ECHO-Echo-cardiograms, EKG-Electrocardiograms, Holter Monitor Interpretations, Homo-dynamic, Intra Aortic Balloon Pumps, MUGA Scans, SPECT Test, Stint Implantation, Swan Genz Catheter Insertion, Temporary Pacemakers, Thallium Stress Test, Tran Esophageal inter-TEE
- Be aware facility is a PCI without surgical backup facility
- Will require a copy of the physicians dashboard from the ACC NCDR CathPCI Registry to validate quality
- The IC will be covering both general and interventional call
