Electrophysiology Opportunity - Salem, VA (Family Friendly, 4-Season Outdoor Recreation, Culturally Invigorating)

Job Summary

Busy cardiology practice at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia is seeking an electrophysiologist specializing in invasive and noninvasive management of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, Pulmonary Vein Antrum Isolation (atrial fibrillation ablation), and implantation, extraction, and management of pacemakers and ICDs.

Qualified Candidates:
- Required skills include all atrial and ventricular arrhythmia procedures, Pulmonary Vein Antrum isolation and Implantation, extraction, management of pacemakers and ICDs
- Minimum of 3 years' practice experience
- Must be Board Certified within 5 years of completing training
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Virginia

- Call schedule 1:7
- 3 days/week in lab, 2 days/week in clinic
- Dedicated, trained EP nursing and technical staff
- Limited general cardiology call
- Practice provides full range of cardiac diagnostic tests and treatments, including acute coronary care, cardiac catheterization, coronary CT angiography, peripheral vascular disease, CT surgery, and structural heart
- 506-bed facility
