Physician-led Anesthesiology group is hiring an Anesthesiologists in Phoenix, AZ. This position will mainly work at two sites are located 20 minutes from each other. This position will also help out at other Endo and ASCs located in the same area when help is needed. All the locations this position would work at are located in the Southwest part of the Valley in metro Arizona.
  • This is a fulltime W2 salary role.
  • First location is a very small hospital with only 1-2 ORs running with general cases, no trauma, OB, Peds, Cardiac, bread and butter cases mostly.
  • Second location is a cancer center where you have 2 ORs and all cancer surgeries that are performed. This position will also help with some IR and Endo Suites when help is needed.

Schedule:

Day schedule typically starts around 7am and can end between 2pm - 6pm if cases run late. The daily shifts typically are either 7-2 or 7-5 and alternate, salaried for 40 hours and anything over 40 hours you get paid for. Normal average hours worked is 40 hours.

Call schedule is working one week of beeper call at night every 6-8 weeks. Beeper call is from 5pm – 7am M-F and then that whole weekend. Most of the time if you work while on call, it is between 5pm-9pm helping finish cases, it is very rare to get called in the middle of the night. You get paid to hold the beeper and paid hourly if you work during your beeper call hours. You could be running your own rooms or Medically Directing, when on call it mostly is running own rooms.
