Location: Northern, Iowa
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Length of Assignment: 6 months
Schedule: M-W-F 6:30 - 3:00 T-Th 7:00 - 3:30, but will stay later if help is needed in non-cardiac cases or the cardiac case is not finished
Credentialing: 8-12 weeks
Patient Volume: Cardiac surgeries 1/day - but not every day at this point. 5-7 general cases/day. Must help cover general if no cardiac cases.

Details: Trauma Level II
Practice Setting (Pain Management Clinic/Surgical Center/Hospital Based): Hospital based. On rare occasions may need to oversee CRNAs at the ASC if no cardiac cases are scheduled and a physician is needed at the ASC location.
Locum Tenens Physician's in rare circumstances will be required to supervise CRNA. Intent is for locum to provide coverage for cardiac cases and general cases - the NIAA providers will oversee the CRNAs.
Number of Anesthesiologists in Practice: 5 currently, 6 in mid-August. Locum would be 7th.
Patient Age Demographic: (Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric): All. Very sick children are sent to other hospitals better staffed/equipped for children.
