TeamHealth has an excellent leadership opportunity for a full-time Anesthesia Facility Medical Director to join our care team at Tampa General Hospital in Florida. The right physician candidate should be Board Certified in anesthesiology with extensive leadership experience. In addition to clinical duties, the Facility Medical Director’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting full and competent staffing of the practice, overseeing and directing the anesthesia program as a unified division through all care delivery areas, creating practice staffing schedules, providing visible and responsible medical leadership for anesthesia services, meeting regularly with hospital administration and other key stakeholders to discuss expectations, improving initiatives, attending to quality, regulatory, compliance, and performance improvement duties and attend TeamHealth leadership conferences and development meetings. $50,000 bonus for this opportunity.
