Excellent opportunity for a General Anesthesiologist to join a growing practice servicing this 530-bed tertiary care teaching hospital.

Staffing: 13 Anesthesiologists and 6 CRNA’s.

Level I trauma center, 8 OR’s, OB, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, light peds, no cardiac or transplants.
Center's volumes are 6k cases in the OR, 2,400 in the GI, and about 1,400 deliveries a year.

Call: 1:13 first call; 1:13 second call, overall- 4 in house calls a month which will include some weekend call.
Post call day off. Hardly ever any call ins for 2nd and 3rd call, as a CRNA will be in house for 1st call.

1st case: 8 am start; Cases usually end between 3-4pm.

Located just 30 miles (48 km) from downtown Manhattan, with approximately 86% of residents commuting to work, suburb of New York City
