- Both Inpatient and Outpatient coverage needed in Eastern North Carolina
- 114-bed hospital
- 3 OR suites
- (7a3p) Monday -Friday for the OR hours (scheduled cases)
- Weeknight call (3pm) andWeekend call (Friday 3p-Monday7a)
- Dates needed: September 21st - October 5th; October 19th - November 2nd
- 8 – 10 hour work day
- Night Call 3-4 week + 6-8 hour/weekend
- Call is nightly during the week (after scheduled cases are complete) and on the weekends
- Call schedule 1: Nightly when scheduled
- Call shared with 1 MD and 3 CRNA’s
- Must be able to start surgery within 30 minutes of call back
- Approx. # of patients/day/provider: 10 - 20
- # of Surgical Cases per month: 250
- ICU / Critical Care Duties
- 10 Intubation and Cardioversions
- Required to serve back up in ER (Called for difficult Intubations & Spinals)
- EMR = EPIC (HealthSpan)
- LT MDA will respond to codes
- LT MDA will be expected to serve as back up in the ER
- Procedures: General Anesthesia/Blocks/Regional Anesthesia, Labor Epidurals shared with CRNAs, Emergency Airway Management, Intubations, Invasive Lines, Cardioversions, Consults, & Epidurals for OB Services
