One of the large Medical Schools in the Country is looking for a Full Time or Part Time Anesthesiologist Physician to join them at their highly regarded state-of-the-art teaching healthcare facility in the Metro NYC area. The Anesthesiologist will provide anesthesia services to all patients of all age, with possible multiple diseases, trauma, pregnancy or other complications, and diverse cultures. This includes high risk patients, HIV/AIDS, extremes of age, multiple trauma patients, organ harvesting, including on call responsibilities. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of the New York Metro area. Faculty appointment available for the Anesthesiologist, excellent compensation and bonus potential, commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE ANESTHESIOLOGIST:
- MD/DO degree
- BC/BE Required
- Will sponsor J1 Visa
- Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number
- Minimum required of 3 years ACGME approved residency in anesthesiology
- Immediate Need, 2018 candidates will be considered
- General Anesthesia with OB and Trauma
- Teaching affiliation possible and encouraged
- Strong clinical abilities, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with academic medical centers and/or public health systems is preferred
- Full Time: Mon-Fri 40 hour work week
- Part Time : 3 days/week
- 3-4 cases in a day, one major, one minor and something else
- Very light call 4 days/month - Anything additional is Paid Call
