Focus in Cardiac and Critical Care Cases
Seeking an additional Anesthesiologist to join an established hospital employed practice.
- Preferred candidate would either have fellowship training in Cardiac and/or Critical Care Anesthesiology or have significant interest/experience in these areas.
- The recruitment of the new Anesthesiologist would allow continued growth of the hospital's CV Surgery Program and increase the quality and availability.
- Call would potentially be 1 in 2.
- 3+ years of experience preferred.
- The services to cover (but not limited to) caths, open heart, and hybrid cases.
- ABMS/AOA Board Certification or Eligible with Certification in Process Required
Compensation Package May Include:
- Competitive Salary ($385,000 - $425,000) commensurate with experience & training
- Commencement bonus (up to $25,000)
- Assistance with medical education debt
- CME expenses
- Licensure, Dues, Subscriptions
- Generous vacation time
- Relocation assistance
- Potential for Residency/Fellowship Stipend
Medical center Port Charlotte is a 254-bed, Joint Commission-accredited, full-service hospital serving Charlotte, Sarasota and Desoto counties. Port Charlotte is a small community nestled along Florida's Southwest Gulf Coast, between Sarasota and Naples, about 100 miles south of Tampa. The area features numerous upland and aquatic preserves, marine estuaries and a unique network of barrier islands and mangrove forests. In addition, Port Charlotte offers miles of beaches, more than 70 parks, 16 golf courses as well as great dining, music and theater.
