Locums Anesthesiologist Position in Upstate New York

• Dates of coverage: April - ongoing
• Work schedule is M-F/8 hour day
• Call schedule is 1 in 3 weekdays and weekends
• The department has 1 FT Anesthesiologist and 3 CRNAs
• 4 ORs plus one Endo suite
• Annually 300 deliveries. Less then 1/3 of which are c sections
• General cases including: GS, Ortho, GI, Podiatry, Ob and Urology.
• Will also do epidurals cardioversions
• Call is from home with a 15 minute response time
• Placement of central lines is required
• No peds less then 6 months old
• Almost mainly 1 on 1 anesthesia by anesthesiologists
• There is 3 CRNAs who are usually supervised by the anesthesiologist on the first call that day.
• Will get credentialed at two hospitals, even though just working at one. May cover larger hospital at back up from time to time.
