A hospital in Massachusetts is looking for an anesthesiologist who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately seven months beginning in early April with a chance of an extension. On a typical day, the provider can expect to see between six to seven patients of all ages for general anesthesia (but no hearts, no neuro-heads and no trauma), OB, regional and blocks, some bariatrics, pain and total joints. Block experience is highly preferred. This opening has full-time hours where the locum can expect to work from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday plus call. This facility uses paper charting, Pyxis Machine EMR and will provide training.
