Job Description

Last Update: 4/30/19
A new pain physician opportunity is now available in coastal Virginia at a growing hospital. The facility is hiring a new physician to support the developing community need. The position is all outpatient with no call, about 80 percent procedures, and up to 20 percent chronic pain management. You will need to be comfortable working solo. Applicants should be board certified or board eligible. You will need a Virginia license, and CompHealth's licensing team can help you with the processing and application if necessary. Current residents and fellows are welcome to apply. J1 and H1-B visa holders will be considered.

This hospital employed position offers a competitive compensation package, a sign-on, and additional bonuses. You will also receive malpractice insurance, health benefits, 20 days of PTO, life insurance, CME time, a retirement package with a 401(k) and a Roth IRA, and relocation assistance.

Come live and practice in this beautiful Virginia location that sits on the southern end of the Chesapeake Bay. You will be able to vacation in Virginia Beach or Nags Head whenever you choose. This is a large enough area to have city amenities, but small enough to consistently be named a best small city in the US. Virginia has historic charm and some of the best universities in the country; you will love calling it home.

CompHealth has opportunities available for physicians in every specialty. Good pay, flexible schedules, minimal administration, and the chance to help underserved patients are all common motivations to make a change.
