6 month locums assignment with possible extension, 40 hours per week,
Monday-Friday, Board certified or board eligible, BLS/ACLS and active DEA
required,EMR-CPRS, 5 days of call per month, midlevel and full nursing
staff support, All travel/housing and malpractice covered. We provide the
credentialing specialist that REDUCES the time and effort on your part.
Scope of Work - Preferred:
• Preoperative evaluation.
• Intravenous conscious/moderate sedation.
• Management of fluid, electrolyte and metabolic parameters.
• Airway management, basic and complicated, including all associated
devices and techniques.
• Invasive monitoring (Pulmonary Artery Catheter, Central Venous, Arterial
Lines).
• Local and regional anesthesia with and without sedation, including
topical and infiltration, minor and major nerve blocks.
• Management of intraoperative complications.
• Management of PACU problems.
• Peripheral nerve block to include major plexus block.
• Manipulation of body temperature.
• Manipulation of cardiovascular parameters.
• Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation including tracheal intubation,
ventilation, and basic and advanced CPR monitoring.
• Joint and bursa sac injection.
• Trigger point injection.
• Cervical, thoracic, lumbar and caudal blocks.
• Differential spinal blocks.
• Cervical, brachial and lumbar plexus blocks.
• Stellate ganglion blocks.
• Celiac plexus blocks.
• Lumbar sympathetic blocks.
• Regional blocks of the head, neck and limbs.
• Blocks for the treatment of cephalgia.
