Medicus Healthcare Solutions is working with a government hospital in upstate New York that needs Anesthesiology coverage. You do not need to be licensed in New York to work on this assignment. A license in any state is accepted at all government facilities.
Summary:
• Schedule: Mon-Fri; 7a-3:30p
• Call: split rotation weeknights & approximately 1:3 weekends
• 7 ORs, with around 245 surgical procedures per month
• Required procedures: general surgery, vascular, thoracic, orthopedics, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, diabetic foot, oral surgery, spine, neuro, urology, and gastroenterology as well as providing services in the endoscopy suite (no cardiac cases)
Qualifications:
• Board certified or eligible is preferred
• DEA
• Any U.S. state license
• ACLS & BLS certifications (needed prior to start)
