Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) is seeking a Locum Tenens (LT) Anesthesiology physician for a locum tenens assignment in Colorado Springs, CO. Board Certified in Anesthesiology (ABA/AOBA).
Doctors typically work five ten hour shifts, call coverage may be necessary (late evening or weekend). Call back to facility: 50% or less. Case mix: General % 20 (trauma) OB % 20 Neuro % 20 Cardiac % 0 Thoracic % 10 Complex vascular % 20 Complex orthopedic % 20 Bariatric % 0
80% hands on, 20% supervision
ACLS & ATLS are required.
Experience working Level 1 acuity including vascular, OB, neurosurgery & trauma is required.
Providers MUST be comfortable in a HIGH ACUITY, HIGH QUALITY work environment. The facility is currently Level 2, but operate as a Level 1.
MDA will pay for and make all travel arrangements. MDA provides A++ professional malpractice insurance.
