North Central Valley California 70-beds, private community hospitals seek Anesthesiologist for recurring locum tenens work. This is an all physician Anesthesia practice. Must be Board Certified or recently trained (within 5 years). OR runs 3 to 4 rooms, mostly requiring general Anesthesia; cases are considered to be moderate acuity. No cardiac, neuro, neither major vascular nor thoracic. Anesthesia blocks preferred at this facility. Call duty needs are possible and/or optional. OB volume is relatively low and OB Anesthesia services offers inter-thecal vs epidurals. (Two near-by hospitals offer large birthing centers). Candidates must reside in CA. An ideal candidate would have flexible availability for recurring work of single day and short week assignments. Needs are also occasionally Mon-Fri. Reference Job 20258.
