Join a collegial, collaborative academic environment at a renowned Level 1 Trauma Center in picturesque Vermont. Our client is seeking a General Anesthesiologist to provide coverage—ideally 2-4 weeks per month. This is an ongoing locum tenens assignment with no nights, no weekends, and no call responsibilities.

Assignment Highlights
  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • No call, no weekends
  • No OB, no nerve blocks, no cardiac cases
  • OR-only assignment (no clinic)
  • Frequent collaboration with CRNAs, AAs, and residents (CA-1 to CA-3)
  • Supervision and some solo cases
  • Faculty anesthesiologists and clinical director always on-site
  • EPIC EMR

Required Procedures:
  • General anesthesia
  • Intubation
  • IV placement
  • Spinal anesthesia
  • Arterial and central line placement
  • Interventional radiology, electrophysiology, endoscopy (interventional and general)
Not Included:
  • OB
  • Cardiac anesthesia
  • Nerve blocks
  • Fellows
Skills & Experience Required
  • MD or DO, Board Certified or Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Must be within 7 years of completing residency if Board Eligible
  • Active Vermont license or IMLC required
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • PALS preferred
  • Comfortable with both supervision and solo practice
  • Must work well in a collaborative, academic setting

Qualifications

Skills & Experience Required
MD or DO, Board Certified or Eligible in Anesthesiology
Must be within 7 years of completing residency if Board Eligible
Active Vermont license or IMLC required
BLS and ACLS required
PALS preferred
Comfortable with both supervision and solo practice
Must work well in a collaborative, academic setting

Working Hours

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. 10 – 20 shifts per month.
