Join a collegial, collaborative academic environment at a renowned Level 1 Trauma Center in picturesque Vermont. Our client is seeking a General Anesthesiologist to provide coverage—ideally 2-4 weeks per month. This is an ongoing locum tenens assignment with no nights, no weekends, and no call responsibilities.
Required Procedures:

- Robust Support: Anesthesia techs, patient support assistants, and on-site faculty/clinical directors
- Pre-paid travel and housing

- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No call, no weekends
- No OB, no nerve blocks, no cardiac cases
- OR-only assignment (no clinic)
- Frequent collaboration with CRNAs, AAs, and residents (CA-1 to CA-3)
- Supervision and some solo cases
- Faculty anesthesiologists and clinical director always on-site
- EPIC EMR
- Travel and lodging pre-paid
- Malpractice insurance provided
Required Procedures:
- General anesthesia
- Intubation
- IV placement
- Spinal anesthesia
- Arterial and central line placement
- Interventional radiology, electrophysiology, endoscopy (interventional and general)
- OB
- Cardiac anesthesia
- Nerve blocks
- Fellows
- MD or DO, Board Certified or Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Must be within 7 years of completing residency if Board Eligible
- Active Vermont license or IMLC required
- BLS and ACLS required
- PALS preferred
- Comfortable with both supervision and solo practice
- Must work well in a collaborative, academic setting

Qualifications
MD or DO, Board Certified or Eligible in Anesthesiology
