Job Summary
Job Description
NuHealth System, Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) is the region’s premier Level I trauma center and a well-regarded teaching hospital. NUMC’s highly qualified faculty, comprehensively equipped facilities, and strong graduate medical education programs, combined with the challenge of serving a broad patient population in a fast-paced environment, provide an extraordinary learning experience for the next generation of medical professionals. On-site partnerships with some of the region’s top specialists have expanded the hospital’s ability to bring specialized medicine to patients. The hospital is well on its way to achieving the goal of becoming a national model of what a state-of-the-art public hospital and community health care system should be and realizing its vision of setting standards in teaching and research. NUMC’s desirable location in Nassau County checks every box for those who want to be close to New York City without actually living the “city life.” Creating that just-right work-life balance is easy when you have great suburban neighborhoods, excellent public schools, rich history, an easy commute to Manhattan, and some of the greatest beaches, parks, and ski facilities all within driving distance. Not to mention, world-class domestic and international airports are minutes away.
