24-Hour call
Call is needed from 3p-7a Monday through Thursday
& from 3p Friday through 7a Monday morning
Nov 21st to Dec 5th 2022
Dec 19th to Jan 2nd 2023
Weeknight call and Weekend call Mon-Mon
Call is needed Mon - Thurs ( 3p-7a )
Call is needed Fri 3p - Mon 7a
Call schedule – Anesthesiologists; Daily Call /Shared Epidural Call
Call shared with - Shared Epidural Call with 3 CRNAs
Both Inpatient and Outpatient
General surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, pain management, OB/GYN are the cases seen
Critical Care ICU Duties
Required to serve back up in ER (Called for difficult Intubations & Spinals)
surgical cases per month: approx. 150 plus 100 Endoscopy
114-Bed Hospital; 15-bed ED; 3 OR Suites
21,000 annual volume
Air and Ground support to transfer patients
Avg # of patients/day/provider - 12-15 Patients per Day (per Anesthesiologist )
Avg 8 admissions/day
Avg 6 admissions/night
LT MDA will respond to codes
LT MDA will be expected to serve as back up in the ER
BLS, ACLS and PALS/APLS required
BC Required
EMR = EPIC (HealthSpan)
2 main operating rooms and an Endo suite with 3 rooms. General surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, pain management, OB/GYN are the procedures performed
