The Location

Hospital serves as a clinical campus for the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, which is owned by the Health System in partnership with Hofstra University.

The case mix includes robotic surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, plastics, obsetrics, and ambulator pediatrics.

Located only 30 minutes from Manhattan, local attractions include museums such as the Museum of art and the Whaling Museum. Location boasts a lively downtown laden with restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and music performance venues.

Position Requirements

  • Assists in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
  • Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
  • M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
  • ECFMC and FLEX
  • Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
  • Currently licensed as a Physician
