Cross Country Locums is urgently seeking Board Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologist for an exciting locum tenens (LT) assignment in Arkansas.
Requirements: Board Certification in Anesthesiology (ANES), active Arkansas license

The BC pediatric anesthesiologist provides direct pediatric patient care to assigned patients and will medically direct CRNA’s staff in perioperative areas, including, but not limited to, the pre-anesthesia holding areas, MRI, operating room, and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Responsibilities do not extend to Cardiovascular Operating Rooms or the Cath Lab. In addition, the pediatric anesthesiologist administers anesthetics according to hospital and department policies and procedures; maintains anesthesia at prescribed levels; completes safety checks of equipment and operating rooms; monitors and supports life function during the perioperative period; completes anesthetic records, including pharmacy records for medications and controlled substances. He or she Exercises independent judgment in the preparation of patient care plans and the execution of these plans subject to the consultation with the attending physician.

Schedule will be M-F 7am-4pm with an 8-hour day guarantee. No call or weekend unless further stated and approved by the department head.
