A managed multi-specialty group is seeking an anesthesia-trained, interventionalist/pain physician who can align themselves with our mission of providing excellent pain care to those in our pain management offices. We offer physicians the ability to remain autonomous in the practice of medicine while experienced healthcare business leaders manage the patient-centered, cost-effective, healthcare objectives of the providers and communities we serve.

Excellent opportunity to join our division of pain management specialty physicians, comprised of Physical Medicine and Rehab and Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners in an established outpatient practice located in a new clinic setting with state-of-the-art equipment. The ideal candidate will have an interest in providing interventional pain management care to patients with primarily axial pain, wound healing problems, sports injuries, radiculopathy, and neuropathy.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares medical histories and examines patients who present to the practice for medical services
  • Diagnose and administers medical treatment services to patients
  • Provides care on an outpatient basis to include new consultations, follow-ups, and performs procedures/injections
  • Documents the medical record in the EMR
  • Direct coordination of care based on patient’s health and treatment needs
  • Interprets laboratory tests, assesses other diagnostic test reports developing appropriate conservative management and procedure plans
  • Performs procedures daily in our on-site procedure suites.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the medical director
  • Well-versed in all interventional pain management procedures as well as spinal cord stimulator trials and implants and kyphoplasty’s
  • Able to develop relationships and expand referral network

Requirements

  • Anesthesiology
  • Pain Fellowship Trained
  • Board-certified or board eligible
  • DEA licensed
